Sprau® continues to open new possibilities in brewing – and now Denmark continues the story.

A new beer brewed with our malted faba bean Sprau® is now commercially available in Denmark. Developed together with Flying Couch Brewing, this new beer release marks another exciting step in bringing Sprau® into the world of brewing.

The result is FABALOUS, a soft and juicy 6.0% ABV NEIPA brewed in Copenhagen. Sprau® brings extra body and a silky mouthfeel, adding a new dimension to the beer experience.

The malted faba bean Sprau® was originally developed for the plant-based food sector, but our collaborations allow Sprau® to enter the world of brewing, where it diversifies our raw material base. In beer, Sprau® enhances mouthfeel, foam quality, and contributes to a well-balanced flavor profile.

The collaboration with Flying Couch Brewing reflects our shared curiosity for exploring new raw materials and pushing the boundaries of modern beer styles.
