At Viking Malt, sustainability is embedded in our strategic initiatives.
Our Science Based Targets initiative focuses on reducing our own greenhouse gas emissions.

In 2023, we reduced Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 6% and achieved a market-based Scope 1+2 emission level of only 81,4 kg CO2e/ton of malt 🏭

We also see a positive development for water usage, which in 2023 was record-low  at 2,7 m³/ton of malt.
