9th Worldwide Distilled Spirits Conference

Our Viking Malt team participated in the 9th Worldwide Distilled Spirits Conference in Edinburgh.

We had the opportunity to meet both existing and new customers, as well as experts from the distilling industry. This year’s programme covered a wide range of topics – from raw materials and fermentation science to maturation, flavour development, and sustainability.

One of the most interesting highlights of the event was Martin Purvis’s presentation on how the whisky market has evolved over the past three years since the last conference. It was a clear reminder of the current state of the industry and served as an excellent starting point for the insightful discussions that followed.
