We’re happy to announce that Viking Malt has joined a significant 5-year initiative focused on crop rotation.
This exciting project aims to enhance our understanding of the long-term impacts of crop rotation. This is well in line with strategy and commitment to sustainable farming.
Regenerative farming practices, including the adoption of crop rotation, play a crucial role in driving sustainable approaches for farmers worldwide.
In the project, led by Natural Resources Institute Finland, Viking Malt, other industrial partners and farmers join forces to develop best practices. The five-year crop rotation trial will provide new information especially about yields, carbon sequestration and the optimal use of legumes.
