Viking Malt’s Malting Barley Crop Update

The 2025 malting barley harvests in all Viking Malt’s regions across Europe have been completed. The season included various challenges and unexpected developments, but our sourcing areas are showing strong potential for the next season.

For this year’s final Walkabout, we visited Christian Tallskog, a farm owner in Salo, Finland 🇫🇮. He shared highlights from the season and some of his practices for sustainable agriculture. As a bonus, you’ll also get to see samples of a new crop!
