International Women’s Day in Viking Malt

Today we’re celebrating International Women’s Day!

Traditionally this is the day to acknowledge women’s roles and achievements in society. Also for us this is a good time to pause and reflect over equality at the workplace. At Viking Malt, we take pride of our gender diversity and well-balanced gender split.

➡️ In 2024, women made up more than half of our Group Management Team
➡️ Today, more than half of our Managers are female
➡️ In a traditionally male-dominated industry, among all our employees, female representation is 39%

According to Eurostat’s EU Labour Force Survey, women held only 34,8% of managerial positions in EU in 2023. We are proud to set a positive example in gender diversity.
